Choose One Of These 10 Questions Before Eating Unhealthy Food
If you want to lose weight permanently with healthy weight loss, you’ll have to manage what you’re eating. And an easy way to avoid eating unhealthy food is to ask yourself questions.
Questions are great. Have you ever experienced a shift in perception after somebody asked you a question? It often feels like getting a different perspective provides a lot of energy for different actions. And the action you want is to eat healthy foods.
Here are some questions that work for me and my clients. Everybody’s different, so choose the ones that work for you.
1. What stands in the way to skip the unhealthy food and eat healthy food instead?
2. How will skipping to eat the unhealthy food change your situation?
3. How could you change your eating patterns so you avoid eating the unhealthy food?
4. How could you reward yourself for not eating the unhealthy food?
5. What could you do to make eating healthy food more appealing than eating unhealthy food?
6. How would eating the unhealthy food affect your permanent weight loss?
7. Do you really have good reasons to eat the unhealthy food?
8. How will you make up for eating the unhealthy food?
9. How much unhealthy food did you had over the last 7 days?
10. If you would eat the unhealthy food, would your regret it later?
Next time you are going to eat unhealthy food, go over this list and see which question changes your perception on the most profound level. Then use this question in the future to help you losing weight permanently.
