What is even more important is to learn from lapses. What caused it? How can it be avoided? Is there an emotional need behind it? Often there is – and you’d be much better of acknowledging it than trying to fight it.

After all, if you acknowledge your needs, you can satisfy them in more productive ways. Permanent weight loss cannot be achieved by working against you. You’ll have to align with yourself making healthy, natural weight loss possible.
