The Dangerous Normal Weight
Thousands will continue to die from being overweight, due to a huge misconception to believe that being overweight is normal. Food is a very powerful thing. What can nourish and sustain life can also destroy and kill, if not used properly. Needing a permanent weight loss is a reality that many may not want to admit.
There are many diabetics that get “used” to having high blood pressure. They lose the initial shock of hearing their high blood sugar level numbers, and start perceiving them as “normal”. When told of high numbers such as 200, they will simply respond, “Yes, that sounds high, but that’s the normal range for my body.”
There are many overweight people that may not be diabetic yet, but they are putting themselves at risk for contracting this deadly disease. Obesity is a dangerous thing, it threatens to shorten it’s victims lives.
It is important to examine your views on health and fitness to make sure you are not caught up in this trap. What are some misconceptions that may be keeping you from taking action? How important, or not important is it for you to become healthy?
Don’t you want to live a healthy life and live for many years to come? Do you need to lose weight permanently? Small changes can make big changes in your life.
Many premature deaths can be prevented by doing a juice or water fast for 7-14 days at a time, at least once every couple of years, in addition to shorter fasts every six months. Some people may choose to fast once a week with life-giving results.
One of the best things a person can do is to provide their digestive system with a chance to rest and detoxify. This is done by simply not eating for 3 days on a regular basis.
