<p><strong>Kick-back.</strong>  With this exercise, you simply hold a weight in your hand (begin with 3 to 5 lbs.) and kneel on a bench using the leg on the same side of your body that you are holding the weight with.  Keeping your back straight and head faced straight forward, begin with arm bent at a 90 degree angle, upper arm parallel to the floor.  Extend the weight up and back while keeping your elbow stationary.</p>
