Who likes to exercise? If you are like me, and probably 99% of the people on the planet you are shaking your head vigorously and thinking sure, me exercise, forget it. Even though every single diet plan anywhere advocates exercise as an important part of permanent weight loss it is the one thing most dieters try hard to avoid.

As you lose weight you will probably find that outlook changing but until then there are many things you can do to get more exercise without ‘exercising.’

Walk—it is the best form of exercise you can get. It is aerobic and strengthening and does wonders for your metabolism. Walk to work, or the bus. Walk to school, or walk your children to school. Park as far from the doors of the shopping center as you can and walk.

Better still, enjoy a nice brisk walk after dinner with the family, or on your own. You will soon find out it is an enjoyable way to unwind as well as giving your permanent weight loss program a real boost.
